You cannot miss the Leaning Tower of Pisa. It is located in Piazza Duomo (also known as Piazza dei Miracoli) and was built between the 12th and 14th centuries. Right from the beginning, the earth at the bottom of the tower started moving. The tower has been leaning ever since, but it will never fall down.
Piazza del Duomo is unique with all its religious monuments: the Tower, the Cathedral, the Baptistery and the Monumental cemetery.
You can also visit Piazza dei Cavalieri, an incredible example of Renaissance architecture and one of the most important cultural spots of the city. We also recommend Palazzo dell’Orologio, Canonica, the church of Santo Stefano and the church of San Rocco.
And also, don’t forget to visit Keith Haring’s street art masterpiece “Tuttomondo”.
